These short, some very short, texts about my projects are all written after the fact, even long after I made the projects. And they are written from memory, without taking passages from reports or other previous writings. Sometimes there is even little or no mention of the projects but they report the thoughts that ran through the minds of me and those who worked with me while we were doing them. I said from memory to say that I wrote down what I remember to have been the main thought that gave form to each of the many projects…. All this in the belief that beauty, in architecture, is the completed form of a happy thought.
